DJ Tom wanted to write his own profile bio directly to future brides and grooms…
“Customer service to my clients is #1 to me – the wedding is not about me, it’s about you, your friends and your family. Once I understand what you envision at your wedding, I’ll use my 15+ years of experience to make sure everyone has a great and unforgettable time. I become very much involved in the timing and management of the evening from the moment you book me.
I have performed at all types of venues from the big to the small. From Hotels (Copley Marriott, Seaport Boston, Cape Ann Marina Resort, Westford Regency) to Country Clubs (Andover, Portsmouth, Vesper, Atkinson, Haverhill) to Restaurants (Lenzi’s, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Lyceum Bar and Grill, The Pavilion at Captains, Davio’s) to beautiful Estates (Crane, Stevens, Lyman, Willowdale) and everywhere in-between.
I have an enormous selection of music from oldies to today’s Top 40, mainstream dance & hip hop hits – approx. 50,000 songs and growing every week. I also have a very good knowledge of all types of music, so requests are not a problem.
I am very professional, friendly, team-oriented and attentive to everyone’s role at your wedding, including the wedding coordinator, photographer, and videographer but most of all, of course, my bride and groom!
Thanks again for considering me for your DJ/MC and I look forward to meeting you soon.”
Tom just DJ’d at my wedding last month. He was amazing!!! A top-notch professional. I live in San Diego and it was hard planning a wedding in Boston without having the ability to check things out in person.
When I finally arrived in Boston a week before my wedding, Tom met with my husband, my mother, and myself. He listened to all of our opinions and made amazing suggestions.
The ceremony music was perfect…the entrance music was perfect…and the reception music was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ…not to mention the low rate and kind way of making a bride feel at ease.
If you are looking for a DJ for any event I would 100% definitely recommend Tom 🙂
We decided on a DJ instead of a band for a few practical reasons. It’s cheaper, there’s more variety in what he/she can play and therefore can appeal to a broader audience, and most importantly for us, a DJ takes up less space than a band. We thought about foregoing a professional altogether and just doing the iPod thing, but I was afraid that it would stress me out.
For anyone else who has done the DJ search, there is LOT of cheese out there! I received a packet from this one guy with all kinds of crazy rainbow colors and smiley faces and frankly, his voice on the phone scared me.
We wanted a low-key DJ, not a show-boat. Tom was perfect. He totally delivered! He wore a nice suit and looked great. Call me shallow but that’s important – the DJ is in the background of quite a few of the photos. He was professional and knew what to play to make everyone happy. He also played all of the songs we asked him to, which is not always a given. The reception was non-stop dancing all night. We had a blast.
We think Tom did a great job at our wedding and we had an amazing time dancing to a mix of songs and genres that we requested.
We met with Tom twice, first to have a preliminary meeting. I felt very comfortable to go with Tom because he was interested in doing whatever we wanted and wasn’t pushing his ego or ideas of how a wedding should be on us.
Tom played the music I requested for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and also threw in some great songs for a great flow, and it all went smoothly and everyone had an amazing time out on the dance floor!
