Bridget K. Doyle is a lighting designer and master electrician, with experience in theater, dance, musical theater, film, live music, and events. She graduated with high honors from Salem State University with a BFA in Theatrical Design, where she specialized in lighting design. Bridget has worked as Lighting Supervisor for North Shore Music Theater, where she covered all aspects of lighting for events, concerts, and a full season of musicals. She is also an adjunct professor at Gordon College, where she teaches technical theater, and designs lights for their productions. Other companies Bridget has worked for include Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN), Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, Salem State Repertory Dance Theatre, Salem Summer Theater, Harwich Junior Theater, and Provincetown Counter Productions. Bridget was a painter long before she fell in love with the art of lighting design. Each design, no matter what the event or production, she approaches like a painting: focussing on a balanced composition and colors, all with a fine attention to detail. As a musician, her ability to harmonize lighting with music is both skillful and beautiful.
