Erik Fox graduated from Emerson College with his BFA in theater design and technology, specializing in lighting design. He came to AllStar with a long history of working in the corporate events industry, setting up and running lights for all types of functions and fundraisers, as well as concerts and music festivals. Since graduating in 2007, Erik has worked up and down the east coast, designing lights for every type of theatrical performance, including the New York City based company, “The Movement Workshop Group”, for which he was nominated best lighting designer by the Planet Connections Theater Festival.

Erik’s nature as a creative problem solver and team leader lends itself excellently to wedding receptions, where venues can vary greatly and different couples have different visions of how they’d like their lighting to compliment their wedding. That’s where a great designer can really make your wedding shine!

Erik approaches wedding uplighting design from a theatrical aesthetic, creating lighting that is emotionally supportive to the music and each special moment, while also keeping it architecturally supportive to each unique location. Whether it’s the subtle highlighting of a tried and true tradition, or a re-imagining to match your concept for the wedding, Erik is always looking for creative new ways to accent a bride and groom’s special day in ways that they and their guests will always remember.
